About this Event
The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies for victims of all ages. The course teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
The course is designed for a wide variety of participants. The intended audience for the courses in this program includes lay responders in the workplace and community. The participants may be taking this training outside the traditional academic environment of a high school, college or university. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED valid for two years.
