Dunhuang Buddhist Art & Culture: An ICB Public Lecture — Prof. Tsui Chung-hui

Join Prof. Tsui Chung-hui, esteemed art historian from the University of Hong Kong, for a captivating two-weekend lecture series that brings to life the rich visual, religious, and spiritual heritage of the Dunhuang Grottoes.
Through vivid imagery and insightful storytelling, Prof. Tsui will unveil the symbolism behind Dunhuang’s breathtaking cave murals, manuscripts, and sculptures — from early Buddhist narratives and the Maitreya cult, to Pure Land representations and celestial Bodhisattvas.
