The State Theatre is hosting the theatrical premiere of the Sioux Falls made film, I REALLY GET INTO IT, on June 24th-27th! I Really Get Into It chronicles the early days of the Sioux Falls all ages punk scene, and the remarkable community of artists, activists, and entrepreneurs that sprang from it.
Following the opening night showing on Thursday, June 24th, director Brian Bieber, producer Brienne Maner, and former Sioux Falls music promoter Terry Taylor, will join Andy Heller of Fat Dude Digs Flicks for an on stage Q&A.
To celebrate the film’s local premiere, the filmmakers will give the weekend’s first 150 ticket buyers a limited edition poster designed for the event by Sioux Falls artist Marc Wagner. Look’s Beer Co. will commemorate the event with a special “I Really Get Into Hazy IPA,” which will be for sale by the can at the event.
Sponsored by FUEL, 100% of the filmmakers’ proceeds of the weekend’s tickets sales will be donated to Sioux Falls non-profit organization, Transformation Project SD.
