About this Event
This year the I AM I will honor the legacy and future of Salsa Music, a genre that was born from Afro-Caribbean rhythms from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela, and it was raised in New York City in the 60s and 70s following the migration of people from these countries to NYC. A blend of Jazz, soul with Afro-Latin rythms and urban poetry that has been taking the world (and dancefloors) by storm for over 60 years. The event will consist of a panel discussion, multi-cultural songwriting camp and a cocktail/reception
