Join us for varying topic discussions for patients with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). HCM is a complex condition that causes your heart muscle to thicken (hypertrophy). It can affect people at any age and is a major cause of sudden death in young people.The experts at Tampa General Hospital and USF Health invite you to learn more and meet and greet the multidisciplinary team who care for patients with this specific condition. This group is led by Dr. Robby Wu, HCM Program Director at TGH, whose program received the prestigious designation as an HCMA Center of Excellence in September 2025.
The aim of the HCM Support Group is to improve the quality of life of those living with HCM and their families, through ongoing peer-to-peer support and educational opportunities to gain a better understanding of the disease process and treatment plans.
