During this blooming good session, you’ll explore the five most popular hydrangea species for Delaware gardens and discover which varieties thrive in sun or shade, which shine in containers or in the landscape, and how to choose the perfect match for your space—whether you garden on a sprawling property or a cozy patio.
Pruning got you puzzled? Don’t worry! Gerri and Michele will take the mystery out of when and how to prune, explaining the differences between cultivars so your plants can flourish year after year.
And here’s a fun garden secret—Master Gardener Michele grows over 120 hydrangeas in her own yard, including a stunning climbing variety! She’ll share real-life experience, favorite selections, and practical tips to help you decide which hydrangeas will thrive in your landscape.
You’ll also learn about their favorite native hydrangeas—beautiful choices that support our local ecosystem while adding charm and color to your garden.
Whether you’re planting your first shrub or dreaming of a hydrangea-filled haven, you’ll leave inspired, informed, and ready to grow your own hydrangea happiness!
