HydeFM presents Faux Films, a series of soundtracks to invisible and uncreated films. Mishka allows us to imagine a movie within our minds through the sonic exploration of Envelop SF’s 32-speaker immersive sound.

MISHKA is a San Francisco native and a 6-year L.A. trespasser. She started her journey in radio with a weekly 3-hour program on KXLU 2014-2018 and currently hosts a Russian/Eastern European-focused show on NTS. Besides radio, MISHKA splits her efforts in music by throwing one-off shows, collecting records, mixing at parties, and working as a music supervisor. She’s excited to be doing radio in S.F. with her new show ‘Cruel Summer’ on hydeFM.

Faux Films focuses on creating film scores/soundtracks to “movies” that have never been made from pieced-together songs and soundscapes. Faux Films asks you to reverse engineer the way you experience film scores by using your imagination to create a film in your head based on your sonic experience.

A community-based multi-genre online radio station broadcasting out of San Francisco, CA. HydeFM curates an eclectic sound consisting of all music genres. Although the station is centered around underground music, HydeFM showcases many art forms, including art, photography, poetry, and visuals. The station also hosts a multitude of events in collaboration with different venues throughout San Francisco and beyond. • Envelop SF is a pioneering immersive listening space that allows you to experience sound like never before.
• No vaccination or mask is required to attend, which is aligned with SF health guidance.
• Our events are low-capacity by design, and tickets can sell out quickly. We encourage you to make your purchase ahead of time so we don’t miss you.
• Envelop SF is a shoeless venue. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, and this helps us keep the space extra clean for everyone.
• You can find us easily. Envelop SF is within The Midway at 900 Marin St, SF, CA. Enter from the Michigan St side of the building through the patio.
• A cash bar for wine, beer, and tea is available. No outside drinks are allowed.
• No admittance into Envelop SF beyond 15 mins after start time. Arriving late disrupts the listening. Please arrive before the event begins.
• Please avoid in's and out's during listening events to respect everyone's experience.
• Listening events are seated, dance parties are not. This event's seating map is below the description. We have a comfortable space waiting for you.
• Please no phones while listening, and please silence your ringer. We encourage you to take photos before and after the event.
• All sales are final. There are no refunds or ticket exchanges.
