About this Event
Step behind the scenes of the Hyde Park Nursery on this guided walking tour of a working plant nursery - an area not usually open to the public!
This tour offers a rare opportunity to explore where almost half a million plants are grown each year to keep the Royal Parks in flower. You’ll learn about the nursery’s history, its state of the art building, and the environmentally responsible growing practices used to raise more than 900 different varieties of plants.
As you move through the site, you’ll gain insight into the seasonal work that keeps the Royal Parks blooming year-round, from propagation to planting schemes across London’s green spaces.
Please note:
- This experience is designed for adult attendees, over 18 years of age.
