About this Event

DUE TO THE VENUE (ASB SHOWGROUNDS) GOING INTO LIQUIDATION ON 22 JUNE 2021- WE ARE AWAITING CONFIRMATION FROM LIQUIDATORS WHETHER THIS EVENT WILL PROCEED, BE POSTPONED OR CANCELLED. Entry to The HVAC & R Technology Expo for visitors is free and is open to the public on Thu 08 July 2021 from 9.00am- 4.30pm and on Friday 09 July 2021 from 9.00am-4.00pm. The Expo in the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" will incorporate the Thursday conference programme and finals of The Apprentice of the Year competition, where the best of the apprentices for 2021 will complete the practical section to win the title. On Friday, supplier product presentations and Construction and Building Control Technology updates will share the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" with exhibitors.

Expo sites are available from 3x3m with specific exhibitor inclusions (eg: allocated parking, café vouchers, Welcome Night vouchers. Additional parking, café and Welcome Night vouchers can be purchased through Ticketing section for additional staff or guest requirements).

Nestled inside "AirTouch Pavilion 2" is the "Competenz VIP Exhibitor Hub". This is a quiet meeting space in the Expo Hall. This area is set with café style and lounge style furniture. This is a bookable space for all exhibitors with access to tea and coffee. Spaces available on a first in- first serve basis. See booking options in Ticketing section. Furniture options set to hold 2 groups of 2-3 pax comfortably per 1 hour time slot.

The "AirTouch Chill Zone" is designed as an area for visitors to sit and relax or for exhibitors to hold informal meetings off their stand. This space is offered free of charge, does not require booking and is available on a first in- first serve basis.


The IRHACE Conference on Thursday 08 July 2021 is designed to support business owners with the most up to date commentary on climate change, sustainability, adaptation, resilience and new technologies. The IRHACE Conference will be held onstage within the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" so that all visitors and exhibitors can benefit from hearing from our speaking line-up free of charge.

The conference programme will be divided up into interesting modules covering the current market situation and the impact of Covid 19/ Training and Stewardship/ Healthy Homes, Refrigeration and Indoor Air Quality/ Navigating employment contracts, Health & Safety and Wellbeing in our industry.

The Product Presentation Zone, are bookable ½ hr time slots onstage in the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" on Friday 09 July 2021. This provides a free opportunity for HVAC & R Expo booth holders to educate and update visitors and clients about new products or services they are providing. The main stage will have a presentation screen, sound (presenter mics & AV presentation sound for embedded videos), basic stage lighting. Max of 6 sessions available on Friday at 10.00am, 11.00pm, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm. These time slots must be booked on the registration portal and will be on a first in- first served basis. Industry updates will be interspersed during the Product Presentation Zones.



How to get involved:

1. Book an Exhibition Booth: Expo booths starting from 3x3x 2.3mH/9sqm available in Pavilion 2. Sites allocated from floorplan on a first in- first serve basis.

Exhibitor Pack A: 3x3x 2.3m H/9sqm: $3800 + GST each plus credit card processing & registration site booking fees and GST.(Total charge $4589.06). Stand inclusions: 3x3m / 9sqm stand, carpet tiles, 2 lights, Power, Basic name fascia, x1 trestle table, x2 chairs, x1 trestle table cloth. Name inclusion on exhibitor list/ plan.

Exhibitor Pack B: 6x3x2.3mH /18sqm: $7000 + GST each plus credit card processing & registration site booking fees and GST. (Total charge $8453.06). Stand inclusions: 6x3m stand, carpet tiles, 2 lights, Power, Basic name fascia, x1 trestle table, x2 chairs, x1 trestle table cloth. Name inclusion on exhibitor list/ plan.

Exhibitor Pack C: 9x3x 2.3mH/27sqm: $9500 + GST each plus credit card processing & registration site booking fees and GST. (Total charge $11471.81). Stand inclusions: 9x3m stand, carpet tiles, 3 lights, Power, Basic name fascia, x1 trestle table, x2 chairs, x1 trestle table cloth. Name inclusion on exhibitor list/ plan and a 1/4 page ad in the Handbook.

Exhibitor Pack D: 12x3x 2.3mH/36sqm: $12000 + GST each plus credit card processing & registration site booking fees and GST. (Total charge $14490.56). Stand inclusions: 12x3m stand, carpet tiles, 4 lights, Power, Basic name fascia, x1 trestle table, x2 chairs, x1 trestle table cloth. Name inclusion on exhibitor list/ plan and a 1/2 page ad in the Handbook.

If the value of the ticketed item exceeds your credit card limit (in particular the larger exhibitor packs), you can select to pay by 7 day invoice at checkout. The Exhibition floorplan will be regularly updated as site numbers are confirmed.

Included in each Exhibitor Pack are Exhibitor Inclusion Packs* (which include Pre-paid parking passes, Welcome Night passes, café vouchers- number allocated vary between packages). All Exhibition Booth bookings will receive a free line listing in the Exhibitor Handbook.

A free advertisement in the Exhibitor handbook is included for Exhibitor Pack C (1/4 page: 65mmW x 96mmH) and Exhibitor Pack D (1/2 page: 134mmW x 96mmH). Please supply PDF Vector art if logo/ text only or at least 300dpi if image contains photographic images. All advertising artwork and information for the Exhibitor Handbook must be submitted by Mon 21 June.

Additional café vouchers, Welcome Night tickets and Validated parking tickets can be purchased as required through the registration portal.

Exhibitor set-up from 1.00-6.00pm on Wed 07 Jul 2021. At 6.00pm, exhibitor pack-in to be completed.

Welcome Night will follow from 6.30-9.30pm on Wed 07 Jul 2021. (Please note this is a ticketed event for exhibitors only). Extra tickets can be purchased through the Ticketing section.

The IRHACE Conference will be held onstage within the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" so that all visitors and exhibitors can benefit from hearing from our speaking line-up free of charge. Conference sessions will held on Thursday 08 July between 9.00am-5.00pm.

The conference programme will be divided up into interesting modules covering the current market situation and the impact of Covid 19/ Training and Stewardship/ Healthy Homes, Refrigeration and Indoor Air Quality/ Navigating employment contracts, Health & Safety and Wellbeing in our industry.

4. The Product Presentation Zones are bookable ½ hr time slots on stage in the "AirTouch Pavilion 2" on Friday 09 July 2021. 5. Advertise your business in The HVAC & R Technology Expo and Conference Handbook. Quarter, half, two thirds of a page and full page advertisements are available from $150-$500 + GST per ad plus credit card processing and registration site charges (Total costs range from $ 181.69-$604.31). The A5 Handbook will be given to all attendees & delegates. All advertising artwork and information for the Exhibitor handbook must be submitted by Mon 21 June. General Information:

Exhibitor and Visitor Access to ASB Showgrounds is via Greenlane West (Main Gate 2).

Ample parking is available onsite . Venue parking charges will apply- pre-pay at one of three machines. ($6 for the first hour then $2 every hour thereafter, capped at $18pd) or use a pre-paid parking ticket.

* An allocation of pre-paid parking tickets are included as part of each exhibitor pack option (quantities vary depending on size of booth). A pre-paid parking ticket is included in all conference and dinner bookings. Additional pre-paid carparking tickets are available to purchase for guests/ staff via the registration portal.

Entry to The HVAC & R Technology Expo for visitors is free and is open to the public on Thu 08 July 2021 from 9.00am- 4.30pm and on Friday 09 July 2021 from 9.00am-4.00pm. Guests and visitors can pre-register for a lanyard here- select Visitor Only Admission.

Pack-in: Hall 2 will be open to Exhibitors from 1-6pm on Wed 07 July. If you at using a custom stand provider, they will need to co-ordinate with EHS to arrange times outside exhibitor access times. Please note that fluoro vests are compulsory for all everybody in the venue during pack-in and pack-out- no exceptions. We advise sturdy closed toed footwear.

Exhibitor derig commences once the public have been cleared from Hall 2. It is scheduled from 4.30-9.00pm on Fri 09 Jul 2021. (Please note that all equipment/ stands/ displays must be removed by midnight on Fri 09 Jul 2021 as there is another show packing in immediately after us. Please contact us if there is an issue with this timeline .)
