Hummingbird Hospice is hosting our first annual Christmas Jingle Jog Fun Run! A full-blown Santa Celebration and Christmas themed race. EVERYTHING Christmas. Live carolers. Ugly sweaters. Hot chocolate. Christmas cookies! T-shirts for all registered participants and prizes for race winners, most festive outfit, coolest Santa, and more. This 5K Run and 1/2 mile Kinder Dash event will take place at O.P. Schnabel Park on December 3, 2022.
You’ll enjoy the festive sounds of Christmas carolers prior to the start and Rockin' Christmas music, food trucks, hot cocoa, and cookies, and local vendors following the race. We are honored to give our talented performing arts professionals and local businesses an outside, healthy opportunity to sing and showcase their products. May this fill your heart with the sound of Christmas.
This event GIFTS back! Sponsored by Wings of Hope, together, we are running in honor of all those who have passed before us. The Jingle Jog Fun Run uses its proceeds to provide care and services to members of our community who are terminally ill and may be experiencing their last Christmas. If your situation allows, hit the donate button and assist us with helping those who are in their final stage of life. A celebration of life, togetherness, and memories of family and friends are most cherished during the holidays.
Our gift to ourselves is health, but our gift to others is hope. Donations from this event are used to fund community outreach and patient programs. Wings of Hope offers financial assistance and living placements for under insured patients of Hummingbird Hospice who do not have adequate mean to afford necessary medical care, educational resources for caregivers, and grief support for family members and loved ones following loss. All donations are appreciated, no matter the size. Tis the Season!
Following the race, our caring volunteers and medical student interns will be serving Christmas cookies and hot cocoa at the finish. Jingle and Mingle with dozens of local vendors and artisans between 9:00 and 12:00, showcasing handmade items, delicious treats, and helpful services. Join us in this once-a-year event and have a Very Merry Christmas!!
Packet PickupBib and packet pickup will be held on Friday, December 2 between 1:00-4:00pm at 8420 Greenbrier, San Antonio, TX 78209. Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation and photo ID. Multiple packets may be picked up by one person, but a copy of all registration confirmations must be presented.
Race Day Schedule6:45am: REGISTRATION OPENS through 8:15. Walk up registration welcome. T-Shirts and packets are not guaranteed for walk-ups or registrations made after 11/18
7:00am to 9:00am: THE REAL SANTA will be there for REAL selfie photos!
8:00am: Kinder Dash half mile race begins
8:00am - 8:20am: Christmas carolers
8:25am: Warm-up with Santa! Dance to the Macarena, EVERYBODY join in!!
Race Start: 8:30am: MASS START for 5K Jingle Jog. Your time does not start until you pass under the starting arch. Wear your bib on the FRONT. You must cross under the start arch by 8:45am.

9:00am -12:00pm: Vendor Fair opens
