Joyful Community Singing with Sylvia Humble in Nanaimo. Let your voice rise and weave in an experiential singing group aimed at interconnectivity and vocal harmony. With vocal play and percussion by April Laurie in our Tuesday night group. All voices are welcome - it’s about joy and connection, not perfection.Sing Inspiring, uplifting songs (including “One Love”) with layers and harmonies taught by ear, and room for creativity and movement. No singing experience or sheet music is necessary - this is community singing in the oral tradition!
This is a Drop-in / Open Sing with my Humble Harmony community group, and it’s also the first week of our six-week series with a theme of LOVE and FREEDOM (for the remaining five weeks we will be a members-only group, to get to know the songs and enrich the group experience). No pressure to join - our Open Sing is like an informal workshop where you can drop in and experience the magic!
