About this Event
For too long, the conversation about AI has only happened in San Francisco and Washington DC. Americans have been told to accept the consequences without having a say. We want to change that.
Humans First is traveling the country to hear what people actually think about the future of AI and to start building power to do something about it.
During this event:
- Hear from Humans First on what's at stake and how we see the future unfolding
- Share your concerns and questions
- Participate in "Ink Over Algorithms": write down your worries about AI, and we'll deliver them to politicians in DC on March 25th
- Connect with others ready to take action
Humans First is a new grassroots movement working to ensure that decisions over the future of AI are made democratically, not by a handful of tech executives in California. This Harvard event is part of a national townhall tour from Palm Beach to Portland.
Whether you're deep into AI research or just starting to pay attention, whether you're on the left or the right, you're welcome here.
We are partnering with the Harvard STS program to hold this town hall. We invite you to learn more here: https://sts.hks.harvard.edu/events/workshops/humans-first-ai-democracy/
