Batuki Music Society Line-Up Discovery Concert – Thursday January 26, 2026
Batuki Music Society is a non-profit, community-based organization that promotes African music and art through performances throughout the year, culminating in an annual festival. We’re proud to welcome their presentation of several outstanding African artists for Discoveries Vol.8.
Performing artists include:
• Nii Osabu – Ghanaian Toronto-based artist and founder of AfroBoys Band
• Dipo – Nigeria-born, Canada-based singer blending soul, R&B, jazz, folk, highlife & Fuji
• Sintayehu “Mimi” Zenebe & Abebe Fikade – Ethiopian Azmari music, vocals, dance & masenqo
• David J. – South Sudanese-Canadian guitarist and activist
• Ruth Mathiang – Singer-songwriter blending African traditions with folk, soul, jazz & reggae
• Ṣẹwà – Nigerian Toronto-based singer-songwriter blending Afrobeat, jazz, R&B & soul
