This Fashion Week kickoff transforms one of Toronto's most iconic fashion spaces into a one-day retail, exhibition, and cultural fashion marketplace.
DAYTIME — 10 AM to 5 PM | 3rd Floor, Former Saks Fifth Avenue
Free and open to the public
The former Saks designer floor becomes an all-day Canadian showroom featuring independent brands, emerging designers, and fashion organizations. Expect a mix of shopping, storytelling, exhibitions, and community gathering — with designers selling collections, showcasing new work, presenting archive and rental pulls, and building out installation-based displays. Media, stylists, tastemakers, and the broader Toronto fashion community will be moving through the space throughout the day.
Participating organizations include Style Canada, CAFA, Indigenous Fashion Arts, Black Designers of Canada, and others.

L'uomo Strano - 8:30pm
The evening shifts to the 2nd floor for runway shows and fashion programming, featuring designers including L'uomo Strano and Charles Lu. The showroom environment on the 3rd floor will continue alongside the evening shows.
This is a chance to experience the full strength of Canada's fashion community — all under one roof, in one of the most meaningful spaces in Toronto fashion history.
ABOUT FASHION WEEK SS 2026
Running May 25–31, 2026, Fashion Art Toronto brings together 50+ designers, artists, and brands through a city-wide program of runway shows, immersive offsite experiences, exhibitions, retail marketplaces, and free public activations.
This season launches the theme Toronto, Show Yourself — a call for visibility, confidence, and pride in the city’s fashion community. Hosted across Toronto’s most exciting cultural spaces, Fashion Week 2026 reflects the scale, ambition, and rising global visibility of independent Canadian fashion.
