HUB CAP CENTRE Presents!
takes flight for another rocking performance in the Hub's Social Hall!! Expect veterans from DC’s vibrant music scene, featuring Joe Dolan and John Stone of the Beatnik Flies, Mark Noone of the Slickee Boys, drummer Antoine Sanfuentes of too many bands to mention including Billy Hancock, and bassist Jim Crenca from Michael Reidy’s MWWW. Each player brings decades of energetic performances and deep ties to local rock history.
Get ready for classic Beatnik Flies and Slickee Boys songs—two groups that helped shape DC’s punk, garage, and psychedelic scenes. FlyBoy promises a set filled with local favorites, cult classics, and infectious energy.
are a three-piece indie rock band from the DC area composed of Seth Flynn (guitar/vocals), Brian Majewski (keys/vocals), and Chris Baker (drums/vocals). The band’s sound is reminiscent of classic artists such as The Beatles and Queen featuring lush vocal harmonies and unpredictable arrangements. Beyond their retro roots, The Duskwhales have crafted a sophisticated style of their own both in studio and on stage. They have supported national acts including Car Seat Headrest, Diane Coffee, Frankie Cosmos, and Jesse McCartney, as well as performed to packed audiences across the East Coast. Their latest album Strawflower Lane is available now on streaming and vinyl/CD on Bandcamp.
