About this event
Do you like folding paper? Do you have information to share? Join this How-To Zine Workshop, no experience required. Whether it’s your favorite cookie recipe, a snippet of gardening advice, or a quick lesson on outer space, how-to zines are the most exciting way to share your expertise with your community. You’ll get the full zine experience: this class will cover what a how-to zine is, two one-page folded zine styles, and of course— zine creation! We’ll jump right into crafting your own how-to zine, and end the class by printing small editions of each zine to exchange. A $10 materials fee includes all supplies and use of equipment. Students will leave the workshop with a small edition of their own zines to share.
Please note: We require all visitors to the Soapbox wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status. The instructor reserves the right to ask you to leave if you do not comply.
