About this Event

How do you tell someone you didn’t agree with what they said in that last staff meeting? Or that you didn’t think their joke was funny? Or that you prefer they communicate with you differently?

Most of us have things we think about saying and yet we avoid bringing it up. Technology and remote work makes avoiding these topics even easier than ever before.

This interactive session will cover:

Objectives:

  • Increase self-awareness
  • Learn curiosity-based approach to initiate a tough conversation
  • Role play tough conversation

Agenda:

  • Overview
  • Pair share - Reflect on past tough conversations

The content draws from Dr. Pham's essay, "Conduct a Passiveness Audit". The workshop will be highly interactive, with small group discussions where you can network and learn together.
