In this Event:

A Workshop for Parents Who Want Clarity, Confidence & Collaboration

School meetings shouldn’t leave you anxious, confused, or second-guessing yourself. Yet for so many parents, conversations about IEPs, Section 504 Plans, or Learning Support Plans can feel overwhelming, rushed, or emotionally draining.

If that’s been your experience—you are not alone.

This workshop is designed to help you show up with a steadier nervous system, a clearer plan, and the confidence to advocate effectively for your child.

Led by educator and parent-advocate Amy Morales, M.Ed., this interactive session blends practical strategies with the heart-centered support parents deserve. You’ll learn how to navigate the special education process with less stress—and more success—including how to:

Understand your child’s rights and what schools must provide

Communicate with school teams in ways that are assertive and collaborative

Prepare for meetings so you feel grounded, organized, and ready

Ask effective questions that move conversations forward

Advocate without burnout, shutdown, or emotional overload

You’ll walk away with tools you can use immediately—so you feel heard, your child’s needs stay centered, and your voice remains steady at the table.

Because this isn’t just paperwork.

This is about helping your child thrive.

About Amy:
Meet Amy Morales, M.Ed.—educator, advocate, and the calm, steady presence parents wish they had in every meeting.
Founder of Flourishing Well, Amy brings more than 30 years of experience in education, advocacy, leadership, and human development. She is a certified life coach (Georgetown University), holds a Cornell University certification in Executive Leadership, is a HERD Institute® Certified Equine-Facilitated Learning Practitioner, and a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Certified Practitioner.
But what sets Amy apart is not just her expertise—it’s her lived experience.
As the mother of a neurodiverse adult child, she has spent decades navigating school systems, decoding what works (and what doesn’t), and learning how to advocate with both courage and compassion.
Amy understands the stress families carry. She knows the emotional weight of wanting your child to be seen, supported, and understood. Through her consulting, advocacy, and parent-support services she helps families move from confusion and overwhelm to clarity and confidence.
With a grounded, compassionate approach, Amy creates a space where parents feel affirmed, prepared, and genuinely supported.
