Not everyone is called to be a maenad, but we can all worship like one.
In Greek mythology and religion, maenads were madwoman followers of Dionysus who shattered gender norms and roamed the countryside dancing for their androgynous God. We’re taking that archetype, opening it up to people of all ages and genders, and exploring how to engage in maenadic worship without relying on alcohol and mind-altering substances.
Join Rose Eleusis and Suz for a workshop and guided journey about how to responsibly step into your Maenad Self as both an archetype and a tool for divine communion- without using your inner wildness as an excuse to be an asshole. Far beyond the confines of the gender binary, Dionysos is waiting.
