Manage the holiday season a little better this year with our two-session workshop series on Holiday Survival Skills! Last year’s Holiday Survival Skills workshop was well received, but we had to rush through some topics, so this year we’re doing it in two parts!Holiday Survival Skills Session 1 (Wednesday, November 20th, 7 PM): Budgeting Your Time and Money
The busyness and expense of the holiday season can be overwhelming. You might feel like you are drowning in gift-giving bills. Or maybe your finances are good, but you’re burning out because you just have SO. MANY. THINGS. on the calendar.
Holiday Survival Skills Session 2 (Wednesday, November 27th, 7 PM): Coping with Loneliness and Toxic Family Members
The holidays can be a tough time for many people. It’s dark, it’s cold, and it seems like everyone but you is merry. You may have to deal with toxic family members, or battle loneliness because you don’t have family.
Come join Lory Cosner, a practicing witch and clinical social worker, to learn some tips and tricks, both magickal and mundane, for setting and enforcing boundaries with toxic family members, expanding your support system, and tossing off societal expectations.
Please note: Although sharing and discussion will be welcome, this is psychoeducation, NOT a therapy session. However, resources for finding a pagan-friendly provider will be available.
Donations are appreciated, but never required. Your presence is what truly matters! We suggest a donation of $10 if you would like to contribute financially. Please bring cash or donate online at https://tinyurl.com/FCUUPS. Write in your donation amount, select frequency, and add the note “FC - Holiday Workshop”
