Join us to celebrate the upcoming sixth year of the scholarship and mentorship program for BIPOC student journalists with a panel and social event generously sponsored by .
This year we’re excited to announce the Fidelity-Shared Bylines Business Scholarship for BIPOC students looking to break into the world of business journalism. To mark this addition to our program, we’re partnering with to host a panel about getting your start in this corner of the industry.
Hosted by SABEW Canada co-chair Laura Hensley, the panel will hear from the Toronto Star's Ana Pereira, The Globe and Mail's Meera Raman and Bloomberg's Curtis Heinzl, who will chat about what it’s like being an early career business journalist, give advice on getting started (whether that’s choosing the right internship, pitching the right story or picking up the right set of skills) and hopefully inspire you whether you’re a student, an early career reporter or a more experienced journalist looking to broaden your horizons.
P.S.: We'd love to see you regardless of your interest in business journalism! Come learn what Shared Bylines is all about.
One drink ticket per attendee, as well as food, generously provided by Fidelity Investments Canada.
