About this Event
This workshop is for artists who are new to public art. If you've stared at a call for artists and thought, "I have ideas, but how do I actually put it all together?" This is for you. Loisse Ledres (geezloisse studios), the latest Windows on First artist currently on view at Las Vegas City Hall, will break down the key elements of a strong public art proposal. From concept statements, visuals, and practical strategies, she will go over how to present your ideas in a way that feels intentional, accessible, and well-considered. You already have the ideas and skills, and this workshop will help you communicate what you're already doing and why it matters.
Civic Center Public Meeting Room, 525 S. Main Street. Parking is available across the street at 500 S. Main Street, with two-hour parking validation provided. Admission is free and open to the public.
