About this Event
This Sustainability West Midlands event will explore the underused but increasingly important role that anaerobic digestion can play in reducing carbon emissions and supporting a more circular economy. Bringing together local authorities, innovators, policy makers and business leaders, the event will look at where anaerobic digestion can make the biggest difference in the transition to net zero, including the role it can play in decarbonising transport, while sharing practical insights and case studies from organisations already making the most of AD.
The event will feature talks from speakers working across anaerobic digestion, alongisde a panel discussion, audience Q&A and networking opportunities, including refreshments and lunch.
Confirmed speakers include Tim Yair from the Midlands Net Zero Hub to discuss work MNZH are doing to support AD uptake within local authorities, and Grant Crawford from Bennamann, who focus on the use of biogas from AD as a direct vehicle fuel.
