About this Event
Nothing speaks more eloquently of summer than the scent of elderflower and cow parsley in a glass of chilled sauvignon, its limpid coolness as crisply satisfying as the crunch of freshly-laundered linen.
All too often forgotten, the aromatic component of white wines is at least half the pleasure. Tonight we'll be indulging in the perfume of fine-boned Riesling, exotic Muscat, pastoral Pinot Blanc, gutsy Gewurtztraminer and much more. A treat for white wine lovers and a great chance to try some unfairly neglected grape varieties to boot.
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
