Hormonal imbalances are common in many women. They can cause problems such as PMS, PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), irregular cycles as well as various symptoms postnatally and during perimenopause and menopause. Hormonal balance plays a huge part in our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It affects how we feel in our body, how we relate to ourselves and others and how we react to experiences in our lives.
WHAT IS HORMONE YOGA?
Hormone Yoga was designed by a Brazilian yogini Dinah Rodrigues. It involves a series of dynamic yoga postures and breathing techniques that naturally alleviate symptoms of hormonal imbalance by harmonising the nervous system and stimulating the ovaries, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands.


WHO IS IT FOR?
Hormone Yoga for women with hormonal imbalances related to PMS, irregular menstrual cycle, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, hypothyroidism or any women over 35 years old as a way to feel more rejuvenated.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
During this workshop you will learn and experience the Hormone Yoga practice which includes asanas based in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga traditions, pranayamas (breathing practices), Tibetan technique of energy circulation, meditation as well as anti-stress techniques to soothe your nervous system.
Apart from the practice, Anna will share with you how hormone yoga works and its power to improve your wellbeing.

  • in cases where estrogen level should not increase e.g. severe endometriosis, fibroids/myoma or breast canceR
  • in case of any other cancer - check with your doctoR
  • after a surgery
  • in case of pregnancy
  • in case of acute psychosis
  • in case of any hormone-related disease ask your doctor for advice
  • during menstruation - some modifications will be given or you can take a break from your hormone yoga class

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • a quiet space for your practice
  • a yoga mat - a blanket you can fold - a couple of cushions to use as a prop or a bolster
  • it's best to practice on an empty stomach. You might want to have your breakfast 2-3 hours before our workshop. You can eat a light snack like a banana before the practice if you get hungry
  • wear comfortable clothes especially comfy around your belly
  • this workshop will be hosted online. Link will be shared with you upon booking
