MUSIC DIRECTORS DAVID WOODS AND EMMA MATTHEWS AM PERFORMED BY CLASSICAL VOICE STUDENTS WITH ALESSANDRO PITTORINO (ORGAN)
The WAAPA Classical Chorale performs Mozart's sublime Sparrow Mass in C Major in the magnificent surroundings of St Mary's Cathedral, along with Cecilia McDowell's Ave Maria, WA composer Perry Joyce's Ubi Caritas and the world premiere of 3rd Year Classical Voice student Anthony Ottobrino's Ave Maria. The central work is John Rutter's famous Requiem – a work radiant with hope and beauty. The Chorale is accompanied on organ by the dynamic Alessandro Pittorino and conducted by Perth's rising star David Woods.
