Have you already been working on the blues foundations and are now looking to push your dance to a new level? Over this weekend Mike & Carla will address some common issues which block progress, whilst elevating your quality of blues movement. This workshop will deepen your understanding of the music, unlock more creativity and expression in the dance, and elevate your partnered connection to new heights.

At Honey Blues we usually like to teach both roles to all dancers, so you can feel free to dance in any role during the socials. However, due to the nature of some of the classes, Mike and Carla would like dancers to stick to a role (lead or follow) for some of the classes. There are also some classes which will be taught as an ‘each lead, each follow’ class, so you can experience each role. For this reason we are asking you to select ‘mainly lead’, ‘mainly follow’ or ‘switch’ when you buy your ticket. In the classes in which dancers are sticking with a role, we ask switch dancers to correct the balance of the class.
Tickets available at: https://honey-blues-dancing.square.site/

This workshop is not appropriate for absolute beginners. You should be familiar with some of the most common footwork patterns used in blues dancing, be confident with finding a pulse, connecting to your partner in different holds and some basic moves.
No dance partner required.
