Honahlei is an indie folk duo consisting of Costa Rican singer Michelle Gonzalez and Austrian musician Kevin Etheridge. Their music combines rich harmonies, soulful lyrics and warm acoustic sounds to create a sound that is both fresh and familiar.The name Honahlei is inspired by the mythical land of ‘Honah Lee’ from the 1960s classic Puff the Magic Dragon and reflects the duo's sense of wonder, nostalgia and timelessness.
Since their formation in 2024, Honahlei has already racked up millions of streams, topped the Soundportal charts for two weeks in a row, and toured Europe as support for Sean Koch. With their highly anticipated second album due out in December 2025, Honahlei is now preparing for their first European headline tour in 2026 to bring their ever-growing repertoire of timeless songs to the stage.
