Homeschool Series

Each month, the National Museum of the Great Lakes invites homeschoolers to dive into the important role of the Great Lakes socio-ecological system through this STEAM-based monthly homeschool series. Each month will cover a different topic with guided inquiry-based learning and fun hands-on activities.

Program Snapshot

• When: First Wednesday of each month, September – May, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Format: 90‑minute sessions featuring rotating themes
• Who: Core ages 7–14 (younger and older siblings welcome)
• Capacity: Limited to 20 students per session for personalized, project‑based learning
• Where: National Museum of the Great Lakes, 1701 Front St., Toledo, OH
