Don't miss the best Wednesday nights in Toledo!Whether you've never tried line dancing before or you are a seasoned dancer, Wednesdays at Whiskey Red are for you!
Melanie from LinedUP Line Dancing will walk you through basic steps and beginner dances from 7-8pm. 8-8:30pm will be for our improver and intermediate dancers to practice new dances and the brave can take the stage to teach the group the latest dances!
8:30-11pm will be an all-request open line dance party with a live DJ each week.
The best part is all of this is FREE - no cover charge!
Come hungry and thirsty because Whiskey Red serves up delicious food and great drink specials every week.
Helpful tips:
Whiskey Red Saloon is located on the ground floor of the Commodore Perry building on the corner of Jefferson and N. Superior, directly across from the Huntington Center. Street/meter parking is free after 6pm and there are several well-lit, paid parking lots and garages nearby. Carpooling is a great idea because downtown can be busy with games, concerts, and events.
Line dancing takes place in the Event Center located behind the regular bar. Enter the door from the N. Superior Street side.
Dress in whatever makes you comfortable. Some wear their best boots, hats, and country gear, and others come straight from work or the gym! You'll fit in with whatever you choose to wear. It's best to wear shoes that have smooth soles to make turning easier.
No experience or partner necessary.
Line dancing is a great way to get exercise and meet new friends!
