Has your homeschooler been wishing for the chance to present a classic science-fair or history-fair project?? Then please join us for our second annual Homeschool Community Project Fair! It’s free to participate, and open to all Fort Worth area homeschoolers of all ages!- Students are invited to present a project in the category of 🔬 SCIENCE or 📖 HISTORY/BIOGRAPHY!
- The only requirement is a classic tri-fold project board! Boards sized 36” x 48” are standard, but smaller are also welcome; boards can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Target, Michaels, etc.
- For students presenting history/biography projects, appropriate costumes are welcome to be worn to the fair! (Please remember that cultures are not costumes, and choose your dress with sensitivity. ❤️)
- For safety reasons, we ask that student presentations NOT involve electricity, animals, open liquids, or live demonstrations. Instead, please capture your student’s process in photographs and display them on their project board!
- At the fair, students will be expected to stand with their boards for a set period of time and explain their project to interested attendees. Parents, family, and friends will walk around, ask questions of presenters, and award creative superlatives to each of the students to honor their hard work! Think: “most colorful,” “most thought-provoking, “most mind-boggling,” or “pinkest project”!
- And! There will be an interactive quiz for all of our guests near the end of the evening! Please ask your student to be thinking of one multiple choice question based on their project that they can submit to quiz us on what we learned!
- If your student plans to participate, please complete this short online sign-up form (https://forms.gle/xnu8mqohiLtZVBww7) to let us know that you’ll be coming!
We can’t wait to see everyone’s amazing projects!
