Celebrate the spirit of community at Gopher Giveback on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 2-5 p.m. at the Mississippi Room in Coffman Memorial Union! This event highlights the UMN’s commitment to service, philanthropy, and civic engagement. Slide in to connect with student organizations and University departments making a difference, explore interactive volunteer activities and learn about resources that support our Gopher community. Enjoy a FREE Soul Bowl while supplies last as you take part in the event!Here’s the list of our confirmed partners and what they’re offering:
SUA's Basic Needs: Paper products drive (paper towels, toilet paper, menstrual hygiene products, etc.) and clothing swap
Fraternity and Sorority Life: Showcasing the charitable efforts of sorority and fraternity chapters, plus interactive activities
Camp Kesem: Make friendship bracelets for their campers (supplies provided!)
Student Parent Help Center: Tabling and offering resources for student parents
Acts of Kindness (AOK): Write a thank-you card to hospital staff and firefighters (supplies provided!)
A Cause for Paws: Create a dog or cat toy to donate to Cause for Paws, which will be shared with a local shelter
