About this Event
The Home Rule Music Festival is a celebration of DC’s rich and vibrant music and culture.
We are thrilled to announce that in partnership with the NoMa Business Improvement District (BID) and the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment, we will host another main outdoor evet at Alethia Tanner Park on Satuday, July 20. This expansion reflects not only the festival's growth in audience but also our commitment to providing a platform for diverse artistic expression and community engagement.
The festival is a special day of FREE, family-friendly music that includes an outdoor record fair, great food trucks, craft drinks, more local vendors, and a full afternoon of live music from living legends and rising stars.
General admission to this day of family-friendly fun is free and open to the public.
A limited number of VIP tickets are also available.
The Home Rule Music Festival is produced by the Home Rule Music and Film Preservation Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to promote, support and preserve DC music and film through performance, education and advocacy, and co-produced by CapitalBop, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving jazz and Black music in DC.
