Learn about Roman Britain with our free drop-in session for home educated children aged 7 to 11.
About this Event

The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is pleased to announce an afternoon of talks, artefact handling and archaeological activities around the theme of one of our most popular sessions, Roman Britain.

This event is specifically designed for home educated children aged 7 to 11. Spaces are not available on these sessions for younger or older siblings outside the 7 to 11 age range.

  • Drop-in artefact handling
  • 15-minute talk on Roman Cambridge at 2.15pm and 3.15pm in our Cambridge Archaeology gallery
  • Sort and identify real Roman pottery sherds
  • Explore the galleries at your own pace

Please note this is a ticketed event. All children must be accompanied by an adult and everyone attending (all children and adults) must have a ticket.
