🎵 About Myke Clifford

“In the beginning was the Tenor Saxophone — gleaming, sexy and very, very cool…”

With over four decades of playing, Myke Clifford brings passion, humour and deep musicality to every performance. A jazz musician at heart, his sound is shaped by legends like John Coltrane, Lee Konitz and Michael Brecker.

He performs on a beautiful 1954 Selmer Mk VI tenor — the same iconic model played by Coltrane — and has shared stages and studios with artists including Tim Bowness and Henry Fool.

You may also recognise him as a main-stage compère at Glastonbury and the Cambridge Folk Festival.

🎤 Plus — Myke will be singing a selection of jazz standards during the evening.
