About this Event
Take inspiration from Brunel’s iconic Royal Albert Bridge and the Tamar road bridge and become an engineer of the future! Enhance science & technology curriculums with this hands-on learning opportunity.
In this session we look at different types of bridges and build Truss bridges. Families will work to build triangles, sections of a Truss bridge and join them together to create a 2-3 metre bridge. Families will then design and build a motorised train to cross the bridge.
These sessions are suitable for ages 5+. At least one adult must accompany each group of children.
Booking essential; £8.50 per person (children and adults) – both need tickets.
