Join us for our Home Ed Forest School sessions at Wepre Park, which monthly on a Thursday morning during Flintshire term time (usually 2nd Thursday of the month but it may vary).The sessions are focussed on free play in nature, with various activities set up for children to explore: mud kitchen, muddy puddle, slack line, hammock, pond dipping, bug hunting, seasonal crafts and more. We'll end the sessions with campfire snacks, hot chocolate and a story round the campfire.
Over time as we get to know each other, our activities will be guided by the children's interests and we can explore topics in more depth, work on tool skills and get children involved in campfire cooking. Lizzy is also an experienced ecologist and always keen to share this interest with families.
The sessions are aimed at families with children aged approximately 4-11 years, who are home educating or flexi-schooling. Younger siblings can also attend - if they want to join in with activities and snacks they will require a ticket (see below). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Costs are tiered to make sessions as affordable as we can:
- First child (age 4-11) costs £9 per session.
- Additional siblings (age 4-11) cost £7 per session.
- Younger siblings who would like to take part (3 years and under) cost £3 per session.
- Adults do not require a ticket but children must be accompanied by an adult.
