- Preludio Sinfonico - Giacomo Puccini
- Violin Concerto - Samuel Barber
- Symphony no. 2 - Rachmaninoff
Puccini's Preludio Sinfonico, which he wrote when he was 23 and studying at Milan Conservatoire.
Barber's glorious violin concerto, performed by star violinist Charlie Lovell- Jones, Classic FM Rising Star 2026 and concertmaster of the virtuosic Sinfonia of London
And finally, Rachmaninoff's most popular Second symphony, full of sweeping emotion and grandiose. His comeback as a symphonist after the failed performance of the first one, resulting in him losing his confidence. This symphony ended up being one of the most iconic pieces of work in classical music, notably the famous Adagio movement.
