Apollo Chamber Players presents Holiday Voyage, the ensemble's sixth annual exploration of multicultural holiday music and faith traditions from around the globe.
The program features guest vocalists Kenneth Gayle, Wayne Ashley, and Armando Hernandez, along with new/expanded commissioned works by Texas A&M faculty composer John Cornelius, Sephardic scholar Isabelle Ganz, and Palestinian-American interdisciplinary artist Muyassar Kurdi.
Program to include music celebrating Christmas, Jewish, Palestinian, African-American, Brazilian and Ukrainian faith traditions.
All proceeds benefit Healthcare for the Homeless-Houston, an organization promoting health, hope and dignity for those affected by homelessness, and providing care for more than 100,000 men and women over the past two decades.
Free admission; donations encouraged.
