Hippies And Cowboys are a powerhouse rock ’n’ soul band from Nashville, TN, bringing back the grit, groove, and raw energy of classic Southern rock with a modern twist. Their electrifying blend of blues, soul, and rock ’n’ roll channels the timeless influences of Sam & Dave, The Blues Brothers, Booker T. & The MG’s, Otis Redding, and Marvin Gaye, while embracing the stadium-sized swagger of Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty.
From their early recordings in legendary studios such as FAME in Muscle Shoals, East Avalon, and Noise Block to their explosive live performances, Hippies And Cowboys have quickly emerged as one of the most talked-about rising acts in the Southern rock revival. Their debut album, Live at Fox and Locke (2023), captured the raw electricity of their live show, while their follow-up EP, Fork in the Road, showcased their deep Southern roots and undeniable musicianship. Years as the house band at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk in downtown Nashville sharpened their craft and gave them one of the most extensive repertoires in town.
Known for their high-energy performances, Hippies And Cowboys have lit up major festivals like Pilgrimage Festival and Bristol Rhythm & Roots Revival and have shared stages with icons such as Goo Goo Dolls, Blackberry Smoke, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and even Bon Jovi at the grand opening of his Nashville bar. Their relentless touring has built them a loyal national following—and 2025 has marked a breakthrough year. Highlights include opening for Foreigner at the Wisconsin State Fair, Buckcherry at the Harley Davidson Homecoming Reunion in Milwaukee, Tesla during Sturgis, Blackberry Smoke on numerous tours, headlining festival slots at Chinook Festival, Lone Star Rally, Pilgrimage Music Festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots, and WEFest, and a much-anticipated European tour in October 2025 that sold out 7 shows in Spain, as well as shows in France, Belgium, and the UK. They have also played tailgates in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks as well as for brands In N'Out Burger, UFC, Jimmy John's, Jack Daniels, and had their music appear on UFC's SlapBox.
