About this Event

In my classes, I like to give my students a drill combo to learn how to groove in different directions. This includes learning isolations and grooves with our head, then our body, and figuring out how to incorporate them together to enhance movement and musicality. Another aspect we will dive deeper into is learning how to differentiate your weight shift during choreography and the way it impacts your moves.
The format of the class will be warming up, stretching, teaching foundation grooves in directions and foot work before moving into choreography. Some of the goals I have for class will be having full range of motion while being comfortable with our grooves, so our musicality will shine. Lastly, not only I want students to get the moves but at the end of the day- I want them to be confident of what they are doing.

I have been dancing for 7 years and training in Hip Hop, Popping, Waving, Grooves and Gliding. I started teaching choreography around the Bay Area for 3 years. At the moment, I'm competing with Groove Against the Machine apart of In The Groove Studios and training with Training Ground at Westlake School for the Performing Arts under The Company.
