This 9 week course combines the the groovy, expressive, raw core of hip hop dance and the flashy, sassy, and versatile vibes of commercial dance.Have you also seen those epic music videos and performances where dancers are absolutely killing it and wanted to do the same? Have you dreamt of dancing like Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake etc? Well you are not alone. That’s what commercial dance is all about and what you’ll meet in this course.
Commercial dance is fun, full of energy and drawing on different dance styles such as hip hop and jazz and is focusing on learning a routine that is sharp, edgy and dynamic. You’ll also learn foundational grooves, footwork, and elements of freestyle that comes from hiphop. Hip-hop isn’t just a dance, it’s a whole culture and it’s all about letting loose, feeling the rhythm and letting your body flow to the beat.
The classes will always start with some warm up and basic grooves and will end with a choreography – we will work on the same choreography several times to hit the details, feel the choreo and really get the moves into the body.
So if you wanna get that body moving, wanna crush it at the dance floor next time you go out or if you just wanna have some fun together with others then pull up and get groovy & sassy with Mie.
This course is open to everyone and all levels – so come as you are !

Aug.-Oct. 9 week course: Monday d. 11/8 – 6/10 – 675 kr.
Break week 42
Oct.- Dec. 9 week course: Monday d. 20/10 – 15/12 – 675 k
Wear loose clothes that you can move in and bring a bottle of water for when it gets hot – and it will!
Nb. Remember to bring indoor shoes for dancing and movement, as outdoor shoes are not allowed in the room.
The class will be in English if needed.
