Sistas Go Hikin' - Hiking the City!!!
Departure: 6:30 AM Park Ride across the street from Chevron located at 4800 W Capitol, West Sacramento, CA otherwise meet us at the park in San Francisco.
Approximately 1:50 (106 miles) commute from this locale. Consider carpooling.
Hiking Location:
Lands End Trail
680 Point Lobos Ave
San Francisco, CA 94121
Hike will start @ 8:30am.
No charge for parking however we will be crossing toll bridges.
Hiking Description:
6 -7 if you hike Lands End to Bakers Beach... but if you hike to the Golden Gate Bridge you are looking at about 10-11 miles.
Elevation Gain: 538 ft.
Rated: Moderate
Absolutely beautiful trail but it does have stairs, stairs and more stairs.

Hiking Time: pace of 20-30 minutes per mile. Allow 4-5 hours for hike including stopping for a snack break.
Hiking Essentials:
Mask
Dress in moisture wicking clothes. Do not wear cotton clothing.
Bring a snack , 2 liters of water, sun protection, a first aid kit.
Trail shoes/hiking boots or sturdy shoes
Hat and gloves
Dress in layers.
It could be cold in the morning so bring a bring a sweat shirt/jacket/coat.
