⛰️ New Hiking Trail with late Start. Perfact trail for spending your sunday in the nature, Rocks, Mountain, forest and river.
Collado de la Cueva (The Hill of the Cave) is a crossroad of trails in the Fore Pedriza (Pedriza Anterior). You can enjoy spectacular views of Manzanares from a small peak nearby and you can meet the Mountain Goats on the Trail. This hiking trail located in the Front area of La Pedriza, an area of great geological, scenic and sports interest in the Sierra de Guadarrama Madrid. The going way is with little up and down but the coming back way will be a bit challenging and interesting because of the rocks on the Trail. There are steep and slippery sections. The path is a mix of wide trails and single track.

Difficulty: Medium Level. (on the back way we will walk over big and small rocks for 30 min, please come prepared).

Leaving Madrid: 09:45am
Total hike: 8km. Steps aprox: 18000
Coming back to madrid: 16:00 or 17:00pm
How to get there
By Bus: we are going by bus. meet us at intercambiador de plaza castilla ( underground bus station of plaza de Castilla) at 09:40am. For departure at 09:50am. Nivel (Flor) -3. Bus to Manzanares el real, Bus Number 724. Dock number 25. One way cost 3€ and you pay to the bus driver. If you have abono joven then the bus trip is Free.
Private Cars: People by private car, must wait in front of (super market Dia) Situated next to our Bus stop in manzanares el real.

What to Bring?
It is necessary to bring hiking shoes, Comfy clothes with an extra layer in the backpack in case it gets colder. Sun Screen, Summer Cap, Your lunch and 1.5L water (minimum).
in case of Rain we are not going to cancel this event. please bring rainy jacket or a small umbrella.
Cost / Charges:
The Charges are only 10€. Cash in hand at the end of Hike. The Price (10€) includes only Hike guide and RC insurance, everyone must pay by own public transport charges, which are mention above.
