Fancy a proper day out by the sea, with a great walk and even better vibes? Come with us on the Faversham → Whitstable hike — countryside paths, coastal air, and a brilliant finish in Whitstable (yes… oysters are absolutely on the table).
What to expect
Distance: 15.7 km (9.8 miles)
Difficulty: Easy (around 3/10) — suitable for most people
Walking time: Around 5 hours at a steady pace (with breaks)
Full day plan: Allow roughly 9 hours including travel + time in Whitstable
Meeting points
London Victoria Station: 08:45 — near Boots (store 27), WHSmith, LEON and the ticket machines
Or Faversham Station: 10:25 — if you’re joining directly from there
We’ll stop for a picnic break on the route, and after the hike we’ll have time to explore Whitstable (harbour, beach stroll, cute streets, cafés, seafood… you choose). We usually finish the day with a relaxed drink together too.
Bring: comfy shoes, waterproof layers, 1–2L water, lunch/snacks, and a little extra cash for food/drinks at the end.
