About this Event
We’re launching a series of intimate tasting events with local food and beverage makers in our beautiful Seattle Restored Pop-Up space, the historic Florence Theater in Pioneer Square. We’re so excited to introduce these amazing people, products, and flavors to a new audience, helping to elevate small producers and create an environment of shared learning and inspiration.
This event features Obie Pressman, founder and chief chocolate maker of Insight Chocolate and Nathan Palmer Royston, a supply chain expert formerly of Theo Chocolate and Lush Handmade Cosmetics.
Insight Chocolate is a small-batch chocolate maker focused on highlighting the unique flavors of cacao grown with agroforestry techniques in Costa Rica. Learn how this approach helps to address the colonial history of cherished foods and how we can apply this thinking to today’s challenges.
