This is for young people in Scotland who require tuition for Nat 5 or Higher SQA. If you do not stay in Scotland, we cannot help you. You must complete admission form and pay fee to join this tuition.
Higher Admin & IT Tuition:
ITPT are excited to announced our new timetable for Higher Admin and IT Tuition at our Edinburgh centre and also via our virtual learning platform
We offer high-quality, tutor-led Admin and IT tuition designed to support students studying SQA Higher Admin and IT. Our programmes are carefully structured to provide focused and effective learning within a supportive environment, delivered either in person or online to suit individual learner needs.

Option 1: One to Five* (Weekly Class – Face to Face) :
Starting Date : Saturday 4th July 2026
Time : Every Saturday 4:20pm to 5:00pm
Duration : 40 minute session each week.
Subject : Admin and IT
Fee : £100 (monthly)
*No more than 5 students per class*
Option 2: One to Three (Weekly Remote – Online Class)
Starting Date : No Specific Dates, can be started at anytime.
Time : Please contact us either via email for the slot’s availability.
Duration : 1 hour session each week.
Subject : Admin and IT
Fee : £150 (monthly)
Test your knowledge:
We will evaluate students existing knowledge with the help of an aptitude test to find out your current status of learning progression.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for learners who are considering to appear for the Highers Admin and IT SQA exam.
What topics will be covered?
The course has two major areas of study which are covered in depth, these are as follows:
- Administrative Theory & Practice:
Candidates enhance their understanding of the factors that contribute to an efficient administrative function, which include time and task management, effective teamwork, compliance with workplace legislation, the influence of digital technologies, and customer care.
- Role of Administrative Assistant
- Strategies for effective time and task management, and their importance
- Characteristics and the importance of effective teams
- Knowledge of workplace legislation and strategies for ensuring compliance
- Impact of digital technology on the layout, working practices, communication methods, data handling and file management of an organisation
- Features of good customer care, mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the quality of customer care, benefits of good and consequences of poor customer care
- Procedures for organising and supporting a range of meetings and events
- Appropriate methods of communication and research
- IT Applications:
Candidates cultivate skills in organising and managing information through digital technology within administrative contexts. They utilise software application functions to analyse, process, and manage information, enabling them to create and edit complex business documents. Additionally, candidates gain an understanding of communication barriers and strategies to overcome them, ensuring effective communication. They also develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to maintain the security and confidentiality of information.
