Celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend with an evening of Celtic, folk, and Americana music. High Drive (Beth Telford & Justin Park) bring fiery Cape Breton fiddle and driving guitar, with ambient folk multi-instrumentalist Spencer Lewis opening the night.
High Drive is the dynamic duo of fiddler Beth Telford and guitarist/vocalist Justin Park, rooted in Randolph, VT. Beth has been immersed in traditional music since the 1980s — from New England contra-dances to years studying under legendary Cape Breton fiddler Jerry Holland, who became her mentor and friend. She continues to run the fiddle and dance camps they founded together. Justin has been playing since childhood, drawn to the traditional music of the world, and brings driving rhythm guitar and vocals to the duo. Together, High Drive delivers a captivating blend of Cape Breton, Celtic, and folk music.
Spencer Lewis is a Bethel, Vermont-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and singer-songwriter whose music paints the rural landscape and quiets the mind. Known for his trademark layered violin sound and rich acoustic steel-stringed guitar tone, Spencer has released over 30 albums across three decades — including Of Spirit and Friends and Cairns (both 2025). A purveyor of ambient Americana instrumental folk grooves, his performances are an unforgettable experience.
Join us at The Underground Listening Room for a St. Patrick's Day weekend celebration of traditional and folk music from two of Vermont's finest.
