Twice each month, there is a very unusual tour at the Monastery. It's called the 'Hidden in Plain Sight' tour and it's genuinely mind-blowing stuff! 👀 The tour is hosted by Gill Harbach, the Monastery's resident Franciscan scholar, and oh boy, does she take you on a fascinating journey through the centuries, with tales of ancient ideals, noble lineages, and the incredible history woven into the very bricks and stone of the Monastery.
Expect a deep dive into the Franciscans, the Recollects, the Knights Templar and the Cathars. We're talking secret societies, spiritual warriors and sacred geometry, all in one tour!
Gill is always accompanied the very distinguished Mr Pippin, her fabulous, four-legged, furry assistant. His knowledge of the Monastery is known to be impeccable 🐶 and yes, he absolutely LOVES a treat 😉

· This is a walking tour of The Monastery and takes around 90 minutes
· Tours normally take place on the first Tuesday and last Sunday of the month at 10:15am
· Recommended for adults and children aged 12+
· This event is fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies
