It was late fall when Rockabilly's angry cousin, Punk, grabbed a chainsaw, plugged it into a hi-gain amplifier, and sent a haunting melody out into the crisp Northern California mountain air. It was the birth of GHOST TOWN HANGMEN; a punkabilly trio that has since become a staple in the west coast music scene.
Ghost Town Hangmen’s music is a raw blend of country, blues, and jazz coated with a punk rock finish that brings familiarity to a new aural experience. This is apparent upon listening to their explosive new album, "Burning Through the Fields" (2020), series of singles from the “House of Faith Sessions” (2018), the “Room 33 EP” (2013), or the band's debut “Self-Titled" album (2011).
Ghost Town Hangmen's dynamic song writing guarantees a new level of enthusiasm for all rock genre lovers. Several of GTH’s songs, including “The Beginning of the End”, “Mean Ass Man”, and “If I Had a Dollar” have been showcased on a variety of west coast radio stations. The boys are no slouches when it comes to performing either, having rocked some of the most historic stages in the U.S. The band has rocked alongside several iconic artists, including "The Living End", “The Reverend Horton Heat”, “The Dead Kennedys”, “The Swinging Utters”, “The Koffin Kats”, and "The Chop Tops".
Ghost Town Hangmen deliver high-energy performances that leave fans and newcomers thirsting for more, so make sure you get out to a GTH show soon and find out for yourself why people around the world love Ghost Town Hangmen!

TELL RIVER is the brainchild of Adam Diener when he moved from Kalispell, Montana to San Francisco in 2006 with a skateboard, bag of clothes, guitar and a pocket full of songs. In the 13 years since he landed in SF the band has moved through a multitude of different band members over the years and an even wider variety of venues. From The SweetWater in Mill Valley, Cafe DuNord & The Chapel in SF to so many other clubs, bars, wineries and breweries to list in the Bay area , Sacramento, Northern CA, Gold Country and more, Tell River has consistently been a hard working original American Roots band here in SF and beyond. There’s no bullshit or frills…just good solid cut to the bone and heart songs. Tell River is Adam Diener (vocals, guitar & harmonica), Randolph Charles (guitar, dobro & trumpet) Timothy Leather (upright bass), Steve Pearson (percussion), Leslie Bailey (vocals), John Harris (guitar).
Influenced by some of the best story tellers in music history, including: Elliot Smith, Wilco, Lucero, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Cash, Neutral Milk Hotel, Tom Waits and Neil Young, Tell River delivers sophistication and dynamics that paint a vivid, evoking sound that is almost impossible to categorize. Their lyrics flirt with the guts of poetry that tackle classic emotional themes with a fresh perspective.
From soulful rock ballads to rocking Americana grit; Tell River engages a wide variety of audiences across age, genre and social status.

BUILD A ROCKET started with… a desert songwriting trip with her old band Bad Cop/Bad Cop. Jen showed Linh Le a song ‘Too Far’ she wrote a few years prior. Within hours the song was recorded, engineered by Stacey Dee. Howlin’ she wolves and Tesla Satellite trains in the background. This trip was the catalyst that inspired Build A Rocket.
Build A Rocket is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Jen Carlson. With a backlog of songs, this project took shape over the course of the last 10 years. Mixing genres of her influences, it’s a nod to math rock + punker roots, with americana + country undertones.
Jen’s sound pulls from the unlikely combination of a haunted surfbreak, with a galloping horse from a spaghetti western, paired with a dose a 60’s UFO convention and gusto of an ole’ biker gang.
The songs are mostly true stories of life, adventure, heartaches and solitude. Murderous at moments, the gritty lyrics paint pictures ghosts past and present.
